Peyrolles en Provence
This charming village's name comes from the provençal "petrola" which means rolled stone. Its history is linked to its castel. The castle's landowners were named "Les seigneurs of Peyrolles".

The Roi René castle
First belonging to Arbishops, king René, Charles III and Louis XI, the castle was bought back by Peyrolles' townhall in 1864. Its present architecture dates back from the 18th century. It has a main building and two wings.

The Chapel
It was built in the 12th century, after the crusades. It is a votive monument.
